Evaporative Air Conditioning

Agas Plumber supply, install, maintain and service Evaporative Air Conditioning.

Evaporative Cooling is highly recommended by Agas Plumber as it not only cools your home but will also save money on your electricity bills especially compared to the operating costs of other cooling systems.

What is a ducted Evaporative Cooler?

An evaporative cooler extracts air from outside which travels through the ducts, passing cooling pads, which in turn cools your home.

Running Costs?

An evaporative cooler is a cost-effective way to cool your house, or workplace, during the summer months. In comparison to a refrigerant system, evaporative coolers use close to 80% less electricity, which means more money in your pocket!

Why Regular Servicing?

Due to evaporative coolers extracting the air from outside, dust, pollen, and other particles can get stuck in the cooler. This means a regular service needs to be undertaken to maintain it’s efficiency.

Product manufacturers recommend you service your cooling system at least every two years. If you have no records of your cooling system’s last service, call Agas Plumber!

How to Best Use an Evaporative Cooler

Unlike other cooling systems, evaporative coolers require a window or door to be open in the rooms being cooled. Your doors or windows do not need to be wide open, but open enough to allow the hot air to flow freely outside.
If you do not open a window or door when the system is in use, you will reduce the cooling effect of the cooler and in the long-term may lead to the system being inoperative.

Note, on days of high humidity, it is best to turn off the water supply to the cooler and run the fan only.
